The Lyngdorf D-5 IC N features an angled, adjustable tweeter. This construction allows the sound to beam from the ceiling towards the listening area when used as in-ceiling height speakers for immersive audio. The 'N' stands for a narrow enclosure, designed to fit narrow mounting spaces between joists and ceiling bars. The sound performance is similar to the D-5 model to achieve the best immersive sound experience.
Pre-mounted Enclosure & Easy Installation
All D-5 IC N speakers come with their own pre-mounted, rigid MDF enclosure, so that no after-market backbox or closed wall cavity is required. This ensures that the sound performance is always defined and consistent, depending less on the wall construction and the available space behind the wall. It also prevents resonances and sound leakage.
