The active BW-2 is designed as a high bandwidth subwoofer with the objective of reproducing music and soundtracks with full dynamics and precision. The frequency range of the BW-2 goes up to 800 Hz in “bypass” mode, in contrast to traditional subwoofers, which are typically limited to 120 Hz. Its custom-designed 10” aluminum long-throw driver and powerful Class-D amplifier ensure linear and clean output at all volume levels.
Available in high-gloss black or matte white, the BW-2 is designed with a focus on discretion. Placing it close to the wall provides the best acoustic performance while saving floor space.

Refined Class D power
The internal amplifier is our own Class-D design based on our more than 15 years of experience in designing audiophile Class-D amplifiers. With an output of 400 W RMS, it can deliver ample power to control the driver at high volumes.
More than a subwoofer
The BW-2 has two input modes. Set to “Line in” it works with conventional amplifiers and processors (25 - 200 Hz). Set to “Bypass”, it operates as a boundary woofer (up to 800 Hz) for perfect integration with Lyngdorf TDAI amplifiers.
Gabriel Fabric Covers
The Lyngdorf loudspeakers MH-2, MH-3, FR-1 as well as the boundary woofers BW-2 and BW-3 are available with higher-quality fabric covers in five colors. The fabrics are made by Gabriel from Denmark. Gabriel is one of the leading fabric specialists since 1851 and creates the finest fabrics for furniture and interiors.
The fabric has been specifically created for acoustic use and still provides a dense, high-quality woven cover. It is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified. The woofers in black cabinets are supplied with a black fabric cover, and woofers in white cabinets with a grey fabric cover. Petrol blue, dusty green, and red covers are available as accessories.
